Client Journey

First

We’ll meet with you to discuss your individual needs.

Then

We’ll work together to prepare a care plan that suits the type of support you need, as well as the amount of time you require our services for. We’ll also assign a consistent Caregiver to you.

Last

You will have your first home support visit, and will have the opportunity to provide us with feedback on your experience, so we can continually personalize your care.

Dementia Care Services

We are dedicated to helping people live well during all stages of Dementia and memory loss. Our goal is to help clients stay at home—an environment they’re comfortable in and familiar with—as long as possible. Our highly-trained Caregivers are knowledgeable and experienced in helping clients who are affected by memory loss and Dementia. We know that coming to terms with this condition is difficult, but we’re determined to make the process easier for both our clients and their families.

Emergency Care

(for all ages)

For clients who are in urgent need of support, our Emergency Care services are available for people of all ages. In cases of early or unexpected hospital discharge, or after a vehicle accident, we’re here to help and will do everything in our power to respond to urgent calls.

Flexible Care Programs

Because we know that not every client needs the same level (or length) of care, we’re proud to be one of the only support service providers to offer flexible care programs. Our Caregivers are available with no minimums required.

Chat Support

For families needing to talk right away, we’re available to chat online in order to set up a time to follow up with a call. Our chat support can be used for families to communicate a need or desire, or concerns or questions about a change in services.

Family Updates

Because we value communication and transparency, our Caregivers stay in frequent contact with our client’s family members—sharing photos*, videos*, or just updates on how their loved one’s day is going. We not only take care of our clients’ home support needs, we also welcome them into the Independence Matters family and love to share all of our adventures.
